Yesterday Mac was resting on the couch, watching the television with His eyes closed when I walked past Him. He half opened one eye and smiled lazily at me. I couldn't help but lean over and kiss Him softly on the cheek.

"Wass that for?" He slurred sleepily.
"Just because I love You." I said shrugging
He smiled. "Nice, isn't it?"
"Yeah," I said. "It's lovely."

And He opened His arms and suddenly there was nothing in the world I wanted more than being held by Him. So I let myself be spoilt for a while.

It's always the simple things that take my breath away. Perhaps that is the way it's meant to be.
